Two peddlers arrested with 300 grams heroin in Sonai

way2barak, April 2: Based on a specific information, a specific operation has been conducted today. During the operation police team intercepted a scooty bearing Reg No. AS-11W-9984 at Gostala, Sonai and apprehended two peddlers. They recovered 25 nos. soap cases containing suspected to be heroin weighing approximately 300 grams from their possession. The apprehended peddlers are Jabir Hussain Ahmed, 32 yrs, Vill-Hatikhal Bazar , PS- Kachudaram  and Makmodul Ahmed, 25 yrs, Vill-Nutan Kanchanpur Pt. III PS-Kachudaram. The NDPS substances has been seized and sealed on the spot in presence of independent witnesses . Further investigation has been on, told Numal Mahatta, SP Cachar.
