Two forest personnel arrested at KNZ for possessing rhino horn

July 4: Two forest personnel of Kaziranga National Park have been arrested for possession of a broken piece of rhino on Saturday. Forest authorities of the national park informed that Sonia Orang, forest guard and Dipen Kumar Nath, home guard were apprehended by Forest Range Officer, Bagori in connection with illegal possession of a wildlife trophy – broken piece of rhino horn. A case has been registered against them. Further investigation is on.
