Two COVID-19 cases again reported in Assam, total rises to 108

May 18: As people stuck outside the state have started to come back to Assam, there has been a spike in the number of coronavirus positive cases in the state. On Monday night, two more positive cases were reported from Golaghat district of Assam. The total number of COVID-19 positive cases has now reached 108 in the state. However, the number of active cases stands at 62. This information was shared by State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
