July 7: The numbers are increasing very rapidly in Assam. On Tuesday, 814 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported from across Assam, out of which, 4988 are active cases. Further, Assam also registered 2 more deaths on Tuesday. Sharing this information in his twitter handle, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 814 new #COVID19 cases detected today, 588 from Guwahati City Numbers are not encouraging. Self-control is critical.”
