Tripartite virtual meeting of DCs from Mamit, Karimganj & Hailakandi held

Feb. 12: A tripartite meeting of the Deputy Commissioner’s from Mamit, Karimganj and Hailakandi districts was held through video Conferencing in connection with the ensuing Assam Assembly Election. DCs from Karimganj and Hailakandi sought help from Mamit DC and SP for peaceful conduct of the coming Assembly polls and urged upon their counterpart to intensify checks on illegal traffic of drugs and liqour. They also urged Mamit DC to extend information and support to maintain peace and tranquility in Assam during the election process in Assam. DC Mamit assured necessary support wherever possible. The Meeting was accompanied by SPs and other officials from the three Districts.
