Three thives arrested from Udharband area

way2barak, July 29: A few thefts cases were reported at Udharbond Police Station on monday morning. During enquiry it revealed that thefts in 2 houses and attempts reported in another 2 houses near J.C. Girls College road. In this regard a special operation was conducted by the police team in the evening and arrested three prime accused and veteran thieves from different locations. They are:
1. Saddam Hussain Laskar (28 yrs) S/O Lt Tuta Mia Laskar R/O Natun Dayapur, PS Udharbond, Cachar dist
2. Babu Uddin Laskar (32 yrs) S/O Lt Pakhi Mia Laskar R/O Natun Dayapur, PS Udharbond, Cachar dist
3. Raj Dey (25 yrs) S/O Dilip Dey R/O Assamese Basti, PS Silchar, Cachar dist

The following items were recovered from their possession:
1. Two (2) nos of mobile phones
2. Thirty One (31) nos of Gold flake cigarettes packets
3. One nos of goat

It is to be mentioned that the above cigarettes packets were buried in the kitchen under the chulha.

The accused are being forwarded to the Honble Court.
