The most needed break amidst a hectic schedule, Assam Police performs Bihu steps

April 20: The month long phase of lockdown has been a real tough time for the COVID warriors like doctors, nurses, paramedics, media, and of course the police. Starting from maintenance of law and order to involving themselves in helping people during the outbreak of coronavirus, them persons in cop could be seen everywhere. They were also involved in boosting the morale of the house locked people by singing songs in the streets of Assam.

However, hardly the society seems to think about this section of the COVID warriors who are involved in multifarious duty round the clock leaving aside their family and risking their lives outside. They were even required to be present while transporting COVID-19 patients from their homes to the hospitals. The rising cyber crime has further increased the burden of the police.

It was 9:31 PM, but Nagaon Police COVID Fighters were still working with deep dedication. Suddenly a cop was heard to address his colleagues for a 2 minutes break from the work. A Bihu number was played and the cops beautifully matched their footsteps to the Bihu song. Well. these are much needed breaks one require amidst a hectic schedule.

With the dance getting over soon, they set to business once again and declare, “We stand in solidarity with all Health Workers including Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics who are at the front line as #IndiaFightsCorona. Any misdemeanour or wrongdoing with our #CoronaWarriors will be dealt with strict action.”
