Teenager from Tarapur & and 65-year old man from Rangirkhari dies in last 24 hours at SMCH
করোনায় মৃত ২, কাছাড়ে এ সপ্তাহে প্রথম

১৩ নভেম্বরঃ 8 নভেম্বর দেড় মাসের এক শিশু করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রাণ হারিয়েছিল। পরের পাঁচদিন কাছাড়ে কারও মৃত্যু হয়নি। কিন্তু সপ্তাহের শেষপ্রান্তে মারা গেল দুইজন। ৬৫ বছরের হরেকৃষ্ণ কীর্তনিয়া ও ১৮ বছরের পঞ্চমী দে। রাঙ্গিরখাড়ির বাসিন্দা হরেকৃষ্ণবাবু করোনার সঙ্গে কিডনির সমস্যায়ও ভুগছিলেন। তারাপুরের পঞ্চমী ছিল যক্ষায় আক্রান্ত। তাই করোনায় আক্রান্ত হলেও দুজনের মৃত্যুকেই নন-কোভিড ডেথ বলে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।

Nov. 13: The coronavirus pandemic has now led to a procession of death also in Barak Valley. Since the last few days, the valley witnessed many deaths, although all of them were not certified as COVID-19 deaths. However, this also cannot be ruled out that all of them were infected with coronavirus. Those COVID positive persons who die due to comorbidities are usually not certified as ‘Covid-19’ death by the State Death Audit Board.

On Friday, Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) informed that in the last 24 hours, the Valley witnessed 02 more deaths at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). Both of them are from Silchar. The deceased were identified as:

  • Panchami Dey (18) from Tarapur, Silchar was admitted at SMCH a month ago. She, however, breathed her last at 6.30 PM on 12 November, 2020. Her death was certified as Non-Covid death by the State Death Audit Board.
  • Hare Krishna Kirtonia (65) from Rangirkhari, Silchar was also admitted around a month ago at SMCH. He died at 8.30 PM on 12 November, 2020. His death was certified as Non-Covid death by the State Death Audit Board.
