Team Assam: CM Sonowal interacts with newly-elected MPs & Assam cadre officers in New Delhi

July 4: In a probably first of its kind in the state, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had a great interactive session with newly elected MP’s and Assam cadre officers in New Delhi. Sonowal tweeted, “The executive and the legislature together draws the roadmap of India’s journey. Urged all to carry forward with the spirit of to take our state to greater heights.”

Interacting with them, CM Sonowal said that the people of Assam have high hopes and being the people’s representative the MP’s should work accordingly to fulfill the wishes and aspirations of the people. He said that both legislature and executive should work in tandem to complement each other and aid to the development of the state.

“Assam’s interests will be safeguarded and the state can tread the path of development only if the newly elected MPs and the officers of Assam cadre posted in New Delhi work in unison,” said the Chief Minister.

Present during the meeting were Union Minister of State for Food Processing RameswarTeli, MP’s Pradan Baruah, Topon Kumar Gogoi, DilipSaikia, Queen Oja, Harensingh Bey, Kripanath Mallah, Dr. Rajdeep Roy, Pallab Lochan Das, Birendra Prasad Baishya, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, Biswajit Daimary and Assam Cadre Officers.
