Tea gardens join the fight against the virus by arranging Covid Care Centres

May 22: Management of Tea Gardens in Cachar District has extend their support and cooperation in arranging the Covid Care Centres (CCCs) within the premises of their respective gardens, so that the dwellers of those gardens who get infected with Covid-19 do not face any difficulty in getting treatment or remaining in isolation under constant monitoring. In this connection, the Cachar District Administration has expressed its thanks to the tea gardens for their promptness in combating the deadly virus.

Medicines and other necessary support are being provided to these CCCs by the District Administration for providing better treatment to the patients admitted there. Further, the initiative taken by the Tea Garden Managements for arranging ambulances for shifting positive people from Testing Centres to Covid Care Centres was also appreciated by the health authorities.  An appeal was also made to spread awareness among the Tea Garden people to come out and get tested immediately, in case of any symptomatic health issues.
