২৩ মার্চ : শিলচর লোকসভা আসনের কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী সুস্মিতা দেব আগামী ২৫ মার্চ সোমবার মনোনয়নপত্র দাখিল করবেন। এ দিন মনোনয়নপত্র জমা দেবার আগে শিলচর ইন্দিরা ভবনে বিভিন্ন স্তরের কর্মীরা জমায়েত হবেন। এ জন্য দলের বিধায়ক, প্রাক্তন বিধায়ক, শিলচর জেলা কংগ্রেস কমিটি, জেলার প্রতিটি ব্লক কংগ্রেস কমিটি, মহিলা কংগ্রেস, যুব কংগ্রেস, কংগ্রেস সেবাদল, এনএসইউআই সহ কংগ্রেসের প্রতিটি শাখা সংগঠনের সদস্য এবং গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত ও পুরসভার কংগ্রেস প্রতিনিধিদের সকাল ১০টায় কংগ্রেস ভবনে উপস্থিত থাকতে শিলচর জেলা কংগ্রেসের সাধারণ সম্পাদক পার্থরঞ্জন চক্রবর্তী অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন।

শিলচর জেলা কংগ্রেস সূত্রে বলা হয়েছে, কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী সুস্মিতা দেব কংগ্রেস ভবনে শহিদ তর্পণ করে মনোনয়নপত্র জমা দেওয়ার জন্য রওনা হবেন। পাশাপাশি তিনি সবার শুভেচ্ছা ও আশির্বাদ কামনা করেছেন।

March 23: Sushmita Dev, Congress candidate for the Silchar Lok Sabha seat will file her nomination on 25 March, Monday. On that day, the Congress party workers will first assemble at Silchar Indira Bhavan. In this regard, District Congress General Secretary, Partha Ranjan Chakraborty has appealed to all party MLAs, former MLA’s, Silchar District Congress Committee, All Block Level Congress Committees, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, Sevadal, NSUI, representatives of Municipalities and Gaon Panchayats to assemble at Congress Bhavan at 10 in the morning on Monday.

District Congress sources have informed that Sushmita Dev will offer tributes to the language martyrs at Congress Bhavan and then start her march towards the office of the Deputy Commissioner for filing nomination. She has also appealed for the blessings and best wishes of all.
