Summer vacation schedule for schools in Barak valley announced by CDC Silchar

way2barak, June 25 : In alignment with the academic calendar issued by the Assam State School Education Board, the Office of the Inspector of Schools, Cachar District Circle (CDC), Silchar has officially declared the summer vacation schedule for all Elementary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary schools across the Barak Valley districts.

According to the order signed by Shri G. Harijan, AES-I, Inspector of Schools, CDC Silchar-cum-District Elementary Education Officer, Cachar, the summer vacation for the year 2025 will commence from 6th July and continue till 31st July 2025. The order further clarified that the initial five days of the standard vacation period 1st July to 5th July will be adjusted with the Puja vacation scheduled from 3rd October to 7th October 2025, as per the state’s academic calendar.

This adjustment ensures that the academic schedule remains uninterrupted while allowing adequate leave periods for students and teachers during both the summer and festive seasons. The announcement brings clarity to all government and provincialized schools under CDC Silchar and facilitates better planning for both school authorities and families during the upcoming vacation period.

The directive has been issued to all educational institutions under the jurisdiction to ensure strict compliance and smooth execution of the revised vacation plan.
