Sumedh Roy earn laurels, gets 1st position in Kreeda Bharati’s Yoga competition

June 22: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, various organisations all throughout organised competitions among the children and youth. At Cachar district also such kind of competitions were held. Kreeda Bharati, Cachar organised  a Yoga Competition on 21 June, 2019 wherein a number of competitors participated.

Sumedh Roy, a student of Class II secured 1st position in Group ‘B’ (Boys) in the said Yoga competition. Sumedh learns Yoga from Pinku Ranjan Paul. Sumedh is a student of Sai Vikash School, Silchar. He is the son of Surajit Roy and Dipabali Roy.

Sumedh has also participated in the Yoga Day competition organised by Cachar District administration on Friday and have secured third position over there. Speaking to way2barak, Sumedh’s grandfather Ranjit Roy expressed happiness at the success of his grandson. He said, “We all family members are very happy at Sumedh’s performance. I bless him so that he could achieve more success in the future.”
