Suman Choudhury donates blood on his son’s birthday in ‘Esho Boli’s” camp

April 10: In order to make his son’s birthday remarkable, Suman Choudhury, Media Expert of District Health Department donated blood on Friday. It was the birthday of his son Sreyansh Choudhury. His father celebrated this day in an unique way. The blood donation camp was organised by socio-cultural group “Esho Boli.” Blood was also donated by Sibom Das, General Secretary of ‘Esho Boli’ and its Assistant Secretary Subhajit Das. The voluntary blood donation camp was organised in the Blood Bank of S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar.

The blood donation camp was organised by ‘Esho boli’ in collaboration with Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors Forum (BVVBDF). Present during the occasion were Karunamoy Paul, General Secretary of central committee of BVVBDF, Dr. manoj Kumar Paul, President of Cachar district committee of BVVBDF and Sabyasachi Rudra Gupta, General Secretary of Cachar district committee of BVVBDF.

Speaking to way2barak, Sabyasachi Rudra Gupta said, “In the backdrop of the 21 days national lockdown, there has been acute shortage of blood. Keeping this aspect in mind, we have organised this blood donation camp.
