এনআরসি-ছুটদের আত্মহত্যা সরকারি হত্যাকাণ্ড, সিআরপিসিসি-র অভিযোগ
Suicides for lack of names in NRC is government murder, alleges CRPC

২৯ অক্টোবরঃ এনআরসি-ছুটদের আত্মহত্যার ঘটনা একের পর এক বেড়ে চলেছে। এই সব আত্মহত্যার জন্য রাজ্য সরকার ও কেন্দ্র সরকারকে সম্পূর্ণ দায়ী করছে নাগরিক অধিকার রক্ষা সমন্বয় কমিটি (সিআরপিসিসি)। তারা এইগুলিকে সরকারি হত্যাকাণ্ড বলে আখ্যায়িত করেন। সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিটি হত্যার তদন্ত দাবি করা হয়েছে।

পাশাপাশি মানবাধিকার সংগঠন থেকে “পিপলস এনকোয়ারি ” করে ঘটনার কারণ বের করারও আবেদন জানানো হয়েছে। সিআরপিসিসি-র অভিযোগ, এনআরসি-ছুটদের প্রতি বিজেপির সর্বভারতীয় সভাপতি অমিত শাহের অপমানজনক মন্তব্যের দরুন জনগণের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে দাবি করা হয়েছে, কেউ যেন আত্মহত্যার পথ বেছে না নেন সে দায়িত্ব সরকারকে নিতে হবে ।

October 29: The incidents of suicides by those whose names were not included in NRC are on the rising trend. For all these deaths, the Citizen’s Rights Protection Committee (CRPC) has held the central and state government responsible. They termed these deaths as ‘government murder.’ CRPC also raised the demand of inquiry into all these deaths.

Along with this, they have also demanded a ‘People’s Inquiry’ by the Human Rights Organisation. They further alleged that the controversial remarks made by BJP President Amit Shah while addressing those whose names were not included in final draft has caused panic among the people. CRPC has further demanded that the government should take measures so that no one is compelled in the future to commit suicide atleast for NRC related matters.
