Students of Mass Communication of Silchar Women’s College earn laurels in short film making

August 19: Students of the Department of Mass Communication of Women’s College, SIlchar earned laurels for their institution. The students got First Prize in short film making competition and Second Prize in Poster making competition. The theme of the competition was awareness on HIV/AIDS.

The said competition was organised by the Assam AIDS Control Society at the district level. The competition was organised as a part of celebration of International Youth Day 2019. Expressing delight, Dr. Manoj Kumar Paul, Principal of Women’s College, Silchar said, ” Hearty Congratulations to the students for their effort and to the Faculty member for encouragement and support. I do wish that more students in the future too will achieve such success under the able guidance of the faculty member of the Department of Mass Communication.”
