State Govt employees to get half-day leave for watching ‘The Kashmir Files’ in movie halls: CM Assam
Assam doesn’t have any Entertainment Tax, so there is no point of its waiver: Chief Minister
March 16: In a proactive step, Assam Government has allowed half-day leave for its employees who wish to watch the film “The Kashmir Files” in movie halls. However, they shall have to inform their superiors and submit the movie tickets the following day. This was stated by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday.
Taking to his twitter handle, the Chief Minister wrote, “Glad to announce that our Govt employees will be entitled for half-day special leave to watch #TheKashmirFiles. They will have to only inform their superior officers and submit the tickets the next day.”
