State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora tests positive for Covid-19

Aug 8: Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Govt of Assam and President of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), Atul Bora tested positive for Covid-19 on 8 August, 2021. Taking to his twitter handle, the minister wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. I request all those who have come in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest.” It needs mention here that Atul Bora was recently in Mizoram along with his cabinet colleague Ashok Singal for peace talks with the ministers and officials of Mizoram.
