Special flight between Silchar- Guwahati further extended with fixed fare of ₹3,500

May 27: The special emergency flight (Flybig) between Guwahati to Silchar and Silchar to Guwahati has been further extended with fare cost of Rs.3,500 per ticket. For further details, the passengers were asked to call at 8135902973. Commenting on this, Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy said, “I would like to thank Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam for extending Air Services from Guwahati to Silchar and Silchar to Guwahati.”

It needs mention here that Assam Government on 18 May, 2022 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘Flybig Airlines’. As per the MoU, the Airline will operate between Guwahati and Silchar with a fixed airfare of Rs 3000 for 10 days from 19 May. As such, ‘FlyBig’ the 1st flight with 64 passengers left from Silchar to Guwahati on 19 May. Guardian Minister Ashok Singhal was present to bid adieu to the 1st batch of air passengers.

Tickets will be available at special counter at DC Office, Cachar and ATDC’s head office at Paltan Bazar, Guwahati. Tickets can be booked through calling at mobile number- 8135902973 and 8638023921. Payment can be made through UPI/Google pay on 8135902973. Initially, this flight service was made available from 19 May, 2022 for 10 days, which has now been extended further. The flight from Guwahati to Silchar will take off at 5 PM, whereas, it will fly for Guwahati from Silchar at 6.20 PM.
