SP Cachar along with 10 others of his bungalow including his PSO tests positive

August 25: Superintendent of Police, Cachar, Bhanwar Lal Meena along with 10 other persons of his bungalow including his Protective Service Officers (PSO) have tested COVID-19 positive. As per sources, SP Cachar has gone for home isolation in his official bungalow. His condition is stable. It needs mention here that the OC of Silchar Sadar Police Station had also earlier tested positive along with a number of other policemen.
