Some do’s and don’ts while bursting crackers during Diwali
way2barak, Oct.25: Diwali the festival of lights is celebrated throughout the country. People indulge themselves in bursting fire crackers during Diwali. However, this is a risky affair and certain precautionary measures are to be adopted while bursting crackers.
Do’s and don’ts while bursting crackers during Diwali:
- Burst crackers in the open area, — never inside the home.
- Burst naturally- made high quality and low noise crackers.
- Wear cotton clothes while bursting crackers. Synthetic fabrics are more likely to catch fire.
- Store water where crackers burst so it can be easily accessible during an emergency.
- Don’t bring back crackers which don’t burst.
- Do not burst crackers with the intention of harming animals, birds etc.
- Do not burst crackers near petrol pumps, cloth shops, or vehicles.
