Cachar College spring back to glory, it’s student bags 1st position in art competition organised by dist administration

way2barak, Nov.25: After being in the news for many days for unpalatable issues, Cachar College once again has sprang back for positive achievement of the students. Mousumi Barbhuiya, a student of Cachar College, Silchar was adjudged as the first position holder in Art Competition organized by District Administration on the occasion of 400th Birth Anniversary of Bir Lachit Barphukan, the ever valiant General of Assam who defeated the Mughal invaders.

In this connection, Deputy Commissioner, Rohan Kr Jha issued a certificate of appreciation to Mousumi Barbhuiya, which was handed over to her by the teachers of the college on Friday. It needs mention here that students from different educational institutions of the district took part in this art competition.
