Silchar Youth Congress burns effigy of AIUDF supremo on allegation of acting as agent of BJP

April 1: On Friday, the members of Silchar Youth Congress burnt the effigy of AIUDF supremo Maulana badar Uddin Ajmal. Youth Congress alleged that during the recently concluded Rajya Sabha election, BJP and AIUDF joined hands in an illegal nexus and defeated Congress candidate Ripun Bora. They further said that such type of activities are detrimental for democracy.

Raja Laskar, on behalf of Silchar Youth Congress said that Maulana Badar Uddin Ajmal and his party is working as the agent of BJP. They further demanded that APCC should expel those persons from the party who are clandestinely helping the BJP going against the interest of their own party. They further stated that not only Siddique Ahmed, but there are some more leaders within the Congress who too are involved in anti-party activities. Youth Congress demanded that such persons should be identified and expelled from the party.
