Shops closed by dist administration for not obeying covid protocol to reopen from 18 May
May 17: More than two dozens of shops of various items were ordered to shut by Cachar district administration for violating the COVID-19 protocol. They were asked to keep their shops closed during the entire phase of Lockdown 3.0. However, with the end of the third phase of lockdown, the district administration has ordered them to open their shops observing all protocol related to COVID-19.
District Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Cachar, Jessica Lalsim in an order allowed those shops which were shut for violation of safety measures to reopen their shops from 18 May onwards. They were further asked to abide by all rules and regulations issued by both the centre and the state as regards COVID-19.
