Sensational kidnapping at RamkrishnaNagar, Police cracked the case very soon

চাঞ্চল্যকর অপহরণের ঘটনা ঘটল রামকৃষ্ণনগর থানার বিদ্যানগর এলাকায়। অতি পরিচিতজনেরা বাড়ি থেকে তুলে নিয়ে মাঝপথে অপহরণের কথা ঘোষণা করে। অপহৃতের ছেলের কাছে ৩ লক্ষ টাকা মুক্তিপণ দাবি করে। চার-পাঁচ ঘণ্টার মধ্যেই অবশ্য পুলিশ কৌশলে অপহৃত আব্দুল রসিদকে উদ্ধার করে। সেইসঙ্গে গ্রেফতার করে তিন অপহরণকারী আব্দুল মুনিম, নজরুল ইসলাম ও শাহিন আহমেদকে।

পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, আব্দুল রসিদের বিদ্যানগর মোকামছড়া গ্রামের  বাড়িতে ধৃতদের আসা-যাওয়া ছিল। বিভিন্ন সময়ে তারা গিয়ে চা খেত, গল্প করত। শুক্রবারও যায়। তবে এ দিন বিকেল ৩টা নাগাদ গিয়েছিল একটি বোলেরো গাড়িতে চড়ে। গল্প-গুজবের মধ্যে ৫৩ বছর বয়সী আব্দুল রসিদের নামাজে যাওয়ার সময় হয়ে যায়। তিনি উঠে দাঁড়াতেই তারা তাকে বোলেরো গাড়িটিতে উঠতে বলে। জানায়, পথে মসজিদের সামনে নামিয়ে দেবে। কিন্তু গাড়ি সামান্য এগোতেই চেহারা বদলে ফেলে তারা। কালো গ্লাস নামিয়ে শুরু করে মারপিট। গাড়ি থেকেই তার ছেলে কমরুলকে ফোন করে অপহরণকারীরা।পিতার অপহরণের কথা জানিয়ে ৩ লক্ষ টাকা মুক্তিপণ দাবি করে। কমরুল ফোন পেয়ে সোজা চলে যায় রামকৃষ্ণনগর থানায়।

পরবর্তী ধাপ এগোয় পুরোপুরি পুলিশের পরামর্শে। মুক্তিপণের দরদাম চলতেই থাকে। শেষপর্যন্ত চূড়ান্ত হয় এক লক্ষ টাকা দিলেই ছেড়ে দেওয়া হবে আব্দুল রসিদকে। টাকার লেনদেন হবে আনিপুর পেট্রল পাম্পের সামনে। সেইভাবে কমরুল নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায় পৌঁছয়। এক অপহরণকারী টাকার ব্যাগ নিতে যায়। অনেকক্ষণ ধরে সাদা পোশাকে তাদের লক্ষ্য করছিল পুলিশ। ব্যাগটা নিতে যাবে, ঠিক সেই সময় পুলিশ হামলে পড়ে তার উপর। অন্য দুই অপহরণকারী তা দেখে দৌড়তে শুরু করেন। পুলিশও পিছু নেয়। বেরিয়ে পড়ে এলাকাবাসীও। ধরা পড়ে তিনজনই। তাদের জেরা করে সন্ধান মেলে আব্দুল রসিদের। আনিপুরেই পেট্রল পাম্পের সামনে গাড়িটি দাঁড়িয়েছিল। আর কালো কাঁচে ঢাকা গাড়ির ভেতরে জখম অবস্থায় ফেলা রাখা হয়েছিল রসিদকে। পুলিশ পরে তাকে রামকৃ্ষ্ণনগর হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যায়। ডাক্তারদের পরামর্শে সেখানেই রাখা হয়েছে তাদের।

September 14: A sensational incident of kidnapping occurred at Vidyanagar area of RamkrishnaNagar in Hailkandi district. Abdul Munim, Nazrul Islam and Sahin Ahmed had a well rapport with the family of a 53 year old Abdul Rashid. The trio would often visit his house at Mokamchera village at Bidyanagar.

On Friday they went to the house of Abdul Rashid which was quite a normal incident. However, on that day they went to Rashid’s house in a Bolero car and took him along with them. In the mid way they declared that they have kidnapped him and demanded Rs.3 lakh as ransom from the son of Abdul Rashid. However, police was tactful enogh to crack the case within 4 to 5 hours of kidnapping. The trio Abdul Munim, Nazrul Islam and Sahin Ahmed were also arrested.

Police has informed that the incident of kidnapping occurred at around 3 in the afternoon. The kidnappers told Abdul Rashid that they would drop him near the Mosque as it was the time when he used to go for Namaj. But after going a little later he could understand that they have kidnapped him. They rang Kamrul, the son of Abdulk Rashid sitting inside the car. Kamrul was clever enough to go staraight to RamkrishnaNagar Police Station.

Thereafter police planned the entire story and set a trap through the son of Abdul Rashid. Bargaining went on between the son of Abdul Rashid and the kidnappers as per the plan of police. Finally, the deal was struck at Rs. 1 lakh. It was agreed that the ransom amount will be paid near the Anipur Petrol Pump. As per the plan, Kamrul reached the petrol pump. A little later, one of the kidnappers came to take the money. Meanwhile, police forces were watvhing the events in plain dress. Just when the kidnapper ws ready to take the bag containing money, police in plain clothes jumped upon him and caught him. Watching what has happened, the other two kidnappers started running from the spot. Police too followed them. Hearing the commotion, the villagers also went out. Finally, these two were also nabbed by the police. On interrogation, they revealed the whereabouts of Abdul Rashid. The Bolero of the kidnappers was parked near the petrol pump and Abdul Rashid was inside the car in an injured condition. Police then took Abdul Rashid to Ramkrishna Nagar hospital.
