Seemanta Chetana Mancha celebrates its Foundation Day
Way2barak, March 30 : The foundation day of Seemanta Chetana Mancha was celebrated at Gandhi Bhavan in Silchar on Thursday. To commemorate the occasion, the Cachar District Committee and Silchar Nagar Samiti of Seemanta Chetana Mancha, Purvottar organized an art competition on March 30th, which was participated over 250 students from different parts of the district. A special lecture session, as well as the prizes and certificates, was distributed, graced by Sri Gauranga Roy, Prant Pracharak, and Sri Subrata Das, Prant Buddhik Pramukh.
Seemanta Chetana Mancha Sector Committees also celebrated the foundation day in the international border areas of Cachar District. It should be noted that Seemanta Chetana Mancha was established in the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on the day of Ram Navami in 1985, with the aim of protecting the borders and fostering unity and awareness among the communities residing in the international border areas
Seemanta Chetana Mancha, Purvottar, was also established on the day of Ram Navami, April 13, 2008, to meet the needs of residents of the international border areas of Northeast India. As a result, every year on Ram Navami, Seemanta Chetana Mancha celebrates its foundation day in various locations throughout India.
On the same day, an art competition was held at Gandhi Bhavan, and the winners were announced. In Group A, Dishani Roy, Ayushi Paul, and Priyanka Das won. In Group B, Soham Nath, Rajbir Kangsabanik, and Ayushi Paul won. In Group C, Pragya Debnath, Shreyash Ghosh, and Shriya Chanda were the winners, and in Group D, Moumita Nath, Nirnay Ghosh, and Farjina Laskar won.
On behalf of the organization, Dr. Debotosh Chakraborty, President of the Cachar District Committee, Ratnadip Paul, Secretary of the Silchar Nagar Samiti, and Rabin Bhattacharjee, State Secretary, conveyed their sincere thanks and gratitude to all members and participants for their support in organizing the event and making it a success.
