Section 144 imposed in Cachar

March 20: As an immediate preventive step for containing the spread of coronavirus and loss of lives in the district, District Magistrate Barnali Sharma has clamped 144 Crpc in the Cachar District under which not more than two customers will be allowed to gather at street vendor’s shop, tea stall, pan shop, food stall etc and they should maintain social distance at least 1metre. Both street vendors and customers will be liable for violation of the order. This order will come into force with immediate effect until further order.
