Schools in Haryana shut again till 30 Nov as 174 students & 107 teachers tests positive

Nov. 20: Schools in Haryana will remain closed till 30 November after 174 students and 107 teachers tested positive for the deadly coronavirus in just over a fortnight after schools reopened in the state for higher classes. The new date for reopening of schools would be announced basis the assessment of the condition. Haryana was among the first states to order reopening of schools and allow students to attend classes from November 2 on voluntary basis.

In an order, the Directorate of State Education also said that the schools will be sanitised regularly to prevent the spread of the disease and maintain hygiene.
