School shut in Karnataka after 33 students of Classes 9 to 12 found Covid positive
Oct. 29: Many of the states have now reopened educational institutions post-2nd wave. However, all does not seem to go well. In a disturbing development, atleast 33 students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kodagu district in Karnataka have been detected positive for Covid-19. Following this, the school has been shut down by the authorities.
Infact, a little more than a month ago, that is, on 20 September, this particular residential school had reopened. Before giving entry to the school, all students were tested and were found negative. However, little over a month, gradually students of Classes 9 to 12 started showing symptoms of fever. When tested, around 33 of them were found positive.
