SBI Youth Fellowship Discussed at Assam University
আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এসবিআই ইয়ুথ ফেলোশিপ নিয়ে আলোচনা

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৯ সেপ্টেম্বর : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সেলিং ও প্লেসমেন্ট সেলের উদ্যোগে শুক্রবার আয়োজিত হল ‘এসবিআই ইয়ুথ ফর ইন্ডিয়া ফেলোশিপ’ সম্পর্কে এক বিশেষ আলোচনা সভা। সহযোগিতায় ছিল বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগ ও এসবিআই ফাউন্ডেশন। বিভাগীয় কনফারেন্স হলে আয়োজিত এই আলোচনা সভার শুরুতে অতিথিদের বরণ করে নেন ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সিলিং ও প্লেসমেন্ট সেলের পক্ষে ড. সৌরভ দে।

এই আলোচনা সভার লক্ষ্য ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের ফেলোশিপের মাধ্যমে প্রদত্ত সুযোগগুলি সম্পর্কে নির্দেশ দেওয়া। বিশেষ করে মেধাবী তরুণদের নেতৃস্থানীয় এনজিওগুলির সঙ্গে অংশীদারিত্বে গ্রামীণ উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পগুলিতে কাজ করতে সক্ষম করা। এই ফেলোশিপটি তৃণমূল স্তরের চ্যালেঞ্জগুলির সঙ্গে সরাসরি যোগাযোগ প্রদান, নেতৃত্ব দেওয়া ও তরুণদের মধ্যে সামাজিক দায়িত্ববোধের চেতনা জাগিয়ে তোলার জন্য প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

এদিনের সভায় মুখ্য বক্তা হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন এসবিআই ইয়ুথ ফর ইন্ডিয়ার আউটরিচ প্রধান ও ফ্যাসিলিটেটর পাহি হান্ডিক। তিনি ফেলোশিপের উদ্দেশ্য, আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া ও রূপান্তরমূলক প্রভাব নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন। কীভাবে এই উদ্যোগ তরুণ পেশাদারদের জাতির জন্য অর্থপূর্ণ অবদান রাখার পাশাপাশি মূল্যবান ব্যক্তিগত ও পেশাদার বৃদ্ধি অর্জনের জন্য একটি প্ল্যাটফর্ম প্রদান করে, তাও প্রাঞ্জল ভাষায় বুঝিয়ে দেন।

ছাত্র সমন্বয়কারী অরিন্দম দত্ত, দৈপায়ন দাস ও শামীম বড়ভুইয়া এই আলোচনা সভা আয়োজনে সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করেন। আলোচনা শেষে মনোজ্ঞ ইন্টারেক্টিভ সেশনেরও আয়োজন করা হয়। এই প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে গ্রামীণ ভারতে স্থায়ী প্রভাব তৈরির এক পথ হিসেবে এসবিআই ইয়ুথ ফর ইন্ডিয়া ফেলোশিপ উল্লেখযোগ্য ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে বলেও জানানো হয়।

Way2barak, September 19 : The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Assam University, in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration and the SBI Foundation, organized a session on the “SBI Youth for India Fellowship”.

The session aimed at guiding students about the opportunities offered through the fellowship, which enables India’s brightest young minds to work on rural development projects in partnership with leading NGOs. The fellowship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to grassroots challenges, foster leadership, and nurture a spirit of social responsibility among youth.

The program was graced by Pahi Handique, Outreach Head and Facilitator of SBI Youth for India, who addressed the gathering and shared insights into the objectives, application process, and transformative impact of the fellowship. She highlighted how the initiative provides a platform for young professionals to contribute meaningfully to the nation while also gaining valuable personal and professional growth.

Students’ Coordinators Arindam Dutta , Daipayan Das, Shamim Barbhuyaa and Faculty Dr Saurav Dey actively coordinated the program. The session concluded with an engaging interactive segment, leaving students motivated and inspired to consider the SBI Youth for India Fellowship as a pathway to create lasting impact in rural India.
