Saplings planted by Barak Valley Welfare Development Society to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

July 21: To mark the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Govt. of Assam has planned to plant saplings as part of “Chief Minister Institutional Plantation programme.” As such, on Thursday, all the officials members and project staff of Barak Valley Welfare Development Society (NGO) Silchar have planted saplings at Ujjawala Shelter Home for Girl’s and Women and Open Shelter Home for Boys premises under Barak Valley Welfare Development Society (NGO), at Panchayat Road, Cachar, Silchar.
