Four apartments quarantined at Silchar
শিলচরে ৪ ফ্ল্যাট কোয়রান্টাইনে

২৫ মার্চ: শিলচরে ৪টি ফ্ল্যাটকে পুরো কোয়রান্টাইন করল কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন৷ সেগুলি এনএন দত্ত রোড, অম্বিকাপট্টি, জানিগঞ্জ ও প্রেমতলায়৷ ওই সব ফ্ল্যাটের প্রত্যেককে আগামী ৭ এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত ঘরবন্দি থাকতে বলা হয়েছে৷ মিজোরামে বুধবার যে যাজক করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত বলে শনাক্ত হয়েছেন, তাঁর সঙ্গে পরিচয় না থাকলেও ১৬ মার্চ  শিলচরের ৩  ফ্ল্যাটের ৫ জন একই বিমানে গুয়াহাটি থেকে আইজলে গিয়েছিলেন৷ আর অন্য ফ্ল্যাটে ছিল তাদের ব্যবসায়িক প্রতিষ্ঠান৷ ৫ জনকেই পরীক্ষার জন্য শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে৷

সরকারিসূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, পরে একটি সুমোগাড়িতে চড়ে তারা শিলচরে বাড়ি ফিরে আসেন৷ ওই গাড়িচালক সহ নানা কাজে মোট ১২ জন তাদের সংস্পর্শে এসেছিলেন৷ তাদেরও পরীক্ষা করে কোয়রান্টাইন করা হবে৷

জেলা প্রশাসনের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, মিজোরাম সরকারের কাছ থেকে ৫ যাত্রীর তথ্য পেয়েই মাঠে নামে কুইক রেসপন্স টিম৷ তবে পুরো ফ্ল্যাট কোয়রান্টাইন করা সতর্কতামূলক ব্যবস্থা মাত্র৷ ফ্ল্যাটের সামনে পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে৷ কারও কোনও জিনিস জরুরি মনে হলে প্রহরারত পুলিশদের সঙ্গেই যোগাযোগ করবেন তারা৷

স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগের যুগ্ম সঞ্চালক ডা. সুদীপজ্যোতি দাস বলেন, সবকটি ফ্ল্যাটের সমস্ত সদস্যদের তথ্য সংগ্রহ করতে আশা কর্মীদের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে৷

March 24: Cachar district administration has quarantined a total of 4 apartments in Silchar. The four apartments are spread across N.N. Dutta Road, Ambicapatty, Janiganj and Premtola. All the residents of these 4 apartments were directed to stay indoors till 7 April, 2020. It was learnt that a total of 5 persons from Silchar travelled in the same flight on 16 March along with the man who was tested coronavirus positive in Aizawl, Mizoram. Though they are not acquainted with each other, but they took the same flight for travelling to Aizawl from Guwahati.

As a result, five persons residing in 3 separate apartments of Silchar were sealed. Further, another apartment at Premtala was also sealed because one of the 5 persons who travelled in that flight has his business establishment in that apartment.

It was further learnt that the 5 persons came to Silchar from Aizawl in a Sumo. Apart from the Sumo driver, 11 more persons came in contact with them. The district administration will also search them and after physical examination will sent them for quarantine.

Health officials informed that police force has been stationed near the apartments quarantined. If any resident of the apartments require anything, then they were asked to contact the policemen on duty. Dr. Sudip Jyoti Das, Joint Director of Health, Cachar has said that Asha workers were directed to collect detailed information including travel history of all the members of the 4 apartments.
