The subjects which will include 50% objective type questions from HSLC Examination 2023 are English, Mathematics, General Science and Social Science
Aug. 11: Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has now come up with new revised question pattern for High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination from the year 2023. Elaborating on this matter, SEBA officials stated that 50 percent questions of four subjects will be of objective type (that is, 1×50=50). The subjects which will include 50% objective type questions from HSLC Examination 2023 are English, Mathematics, General Science and Social Science.
Out of the total of 100 marks for each subjects, 10 marks have been earmarked for Internal Assessment. That means, the written examinations will be of 90 marks for these four subjects. Out of 90, there will be objective type questions of 45 marks.
A SEBA official said, “It has been seen that students like to answer objective type questions and these are also very scoring. In descriptive questions, students usually do not get full marks and rather scores 3 out of 4 or 4 out of 5 marks.
