Results of APSC 2020 declared; 331 candidates selected for coveted posts
way2barak, Oct.21: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has declared the results for the year 2020. 331 candidates have been selected for coveted posts like ACS, APS, BDOs, Inspector of taxes, Excise among others. Informing this, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Transparency is cornerstone of our Govt! In line with this mantra, happy that APSC has declared results for 2022.”
“I congratulate all successful candidates on clearing this prestigious exam.Urge them to dedicate themselves to the cause of building a new Assam, one that is progressive, prosperous and among the top states in the country!”, added the Chief Minister.
Principal Controller of Examination of APSC declared the results of 2022 on 21 October. In the notification issued by him, it was stated, “In compliance with Hon’ble Gauhati High Court’s Order dated 21-10-2022 in WP (C) No. 5169 of 2020 and a batch of petitions, the Assam Public Service commission hereby declares today, the 21st October,2022, the result of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2020 for recruitment to Services / Posts of Government of Assam.”
Bijit Pathak has emerged as the topper in the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), 2020. Juri Kalita came in second place (ACS) in the CC examination 2022.
The interview for the said Services/Posts was conducted by the Commission in collaboration with Experts deputed by the Govt. of Assam w.e.f . 26-05-2022 to 04-06-2022.
