Recovery rate in Assam rise to 71% with 274 more patients discharged on Sunday
Total 5088 discharged in Assam
June 28: Amidst rising cases of coronavirus, the number of cured patients are also increasing in Assam. On Sunday, 274 more patients were cured and subsequently discharged. With this, a total of 5088 patients were discharged as of now in the state. There are 7165 coronavirus cases in Assam, out of which, 2063 are active cases. On Sunday, Assam also registered its 11th COVID-19 related death. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “There are 2.5 times more people who’re back home than in hospitals now. With 5000+ recovered at a rate of 71% we’ve done very well.”
