RCB victory celebrations : 11 die in stampede at Chinnaswamy Stadium

way2barak June 5: A stampede-like incident during the RCB victory parade inside Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday evening claimed 11 lives and left 33 others injured. Among the injured, one person is in critical condition, and several with head injuries are being shifted to NIMHANS. The rest are undergoing treatment at Bowring and Vydehi Hospitals. The tragedy occurred as an overwhelming crowd gathered to celebrate the team’s IPL triumph.
