Ravi Patwa elected as Chairman of EIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India

Feb. 25: Ravi Kumar Patwa, an eminent Chartered Accountant (CA) of Silchar has been elected as the Chairman of the Eastern India Region Council (EIRC) of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) for the Year 2022-2023 at the Installation Ceremony of 24th Regional Council for the period 2022 to 2025 organised by EIRC of ICAI at hotel ‘The Park’ on 24 February, 2022.

Mr. Patwa is the only Chartered Accountant from Barak Valley who has become Chairman of any Regional Council of ICAI. Moreover, he is the 2nd Member of the ICAI from North East and the 4th Member of ICAI from outside Kolkata to hold this position in the EIRC of ICAI in the history of last 73 years. It is pertinent to mention here that CA Ravi Kumar Patwa has also served as Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President during 23rd Regional Council of EIRC of ICAI for the period 2019-2021 and also served as Chairman of Student Body of EIRC of ICAI.

Ravi Patwa has also served as Chairman of Guwahati Branch for the Year 2008-2009. Members of Silchar CPE Chapter of EIRC of ICAI extended their warm wishes to CA Ravi Kumar Patwa for his great achievement.
