RAT to be done for priests, volunteers & Durga Puja organisers at 2 centres in Silchar for 3 days

Oct. 5: The Cachar district administration following the guidelines issued by the state government has provided detailed instructions which are to be followed during the ensuing Durga Puja. Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) has been made compulsory for the priests who would be performing Durga Puja, the volunteers of various clubs associated with the festival and the organisers of Puja committees.

In a notification issued by the district administration on Tuesday, it was stated that Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) would be done for these three categories (priests, volunteers & organisers) on 8, 9 & 10 October, 2021 at SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar and Urban PHC at Trunk Road. Joint Director of Health Services, Cachar has informed that vaccines will be administered at these two centres from 9 AM to 9 PM.
