Rajya Sabha: BJP & UPPL candidates file nominations in presence of CM Sarma
March 21: The BJP & its ally UPPL candidates for the two Rajya Sabha seats from Assam, Pabitra Gogoi Margherita and Rwngwra Narzary filed their nominations on Monday in presence of the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. Apart from him, BJP chief Bhabesh Kalita, minister and AGP president Atul Bora and UPPL president and BTC chief Pramod Boro accompanied the two candidates for filling of nomination papers.
Taking to his twitter handle, CM Sarma wrote, “Happy to accompany our Rajya Sabha election candidates — Shri Pabitra Margherita and Shri Rwngwra Narzary — in filing their nominations along with @BJP4Assam Prez Shri @Bhabesh_KalitaR, AGP Prez Shri @ATULBORA2, UPPL Prez Shri @PramodBoroBTR at Assam Legislative Assembly.”
