Railways continue tri-weekly special train service between Silchar & Guwahati till further notice

Nov. 26:  The tri-weekly special train service between Silchar and Guwahati will continue its operation. In a notification issued by Northeast Frontier Railway, it was stated, “It has been decided to continue to run Special Train No. 05612/ 05611 between Silchar & Guwahati till further advice.

It was further stated that Train No. 05612 from Silchar will continue to operate from Silchar thrice a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 December, 2020. Whereas, Train No. 15611 will continue service from Guwahati also thrice a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday with effect from 2 December, 2020.
