R-Day: Minister Chandra Mohan Patwari in Silchar, DC Mridul Yadav in Karimganj & DC Rohan Kumar Jha unfurls tricolour in Hailakandi

Jan. 26: Along with the rest of the country, the 73rd Republic Day was observed with due honour on Wednesday in the three districts of Barak Valley also. Assam Cabinet Minister Chandra Mohan Patwari unfurled the national flag during district level Republic Day celebration at Police Parade ground, Silchar in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli, Superintendent of Police Ramandeep Kaur, Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty among others. Earlier, both the Deputy Commissioner and Minister Patwari garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Bagh, Silchar.

The national flag was hoisted at Government SH School, playground, Karimganj in connection with 73 Republic Day, 2022 by Deputy Commissioner Mridul Yadav. Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi Rohan Kumar Jha unfurled the national flag during district level Republic Day celebration in the district.
