Question paper not sent, Students leave exam hall amidst chaos
Oct. 6: The relevant question paper for TDC Economics 6th Semester pass course was not sent on the day of examination to the respective colleges. The students finally had to leave the exam hall amidst confusion.
At present, the TDC 6th Semester CBCS Even Semester Examination, 2021 is going on in offline mode, which has started on 24 October. On 6 October, during the morning session, the students were supposed to appear in Economics examination.
This particular paper of Economics bearing Course No. ECODSE- 601T has got 4 options. These are:
- Option A: ECODSE- 601T (A): Applied Econometrics.
- Option B: ECODSE- 601T (B): Financial Accounting.
- Option C: ECODSE- 601T (C): International Economics.
- Option D: ECODSE- 601T (D): Economic Development & Policy in India-II.
However, on Wednesday morning, when the examination started, the students were at a loss to find that ‘Option D’ of this paper was missing. The question paper contained only the 1st three options, that is, A, B & C, whereas Option D, that is, Economic Development & Policy in India-II was missing.
Immediately, a hue and cry was raised inside the examination hall of the various colleges. The college authorities called the Controller of Examinations of Assam University. One of the college Principal told, “The Controller of Examinations of Assam University told us verbally that as the Option D was missing from the question paper, hence this particular paper has been postponed and will now be held in the morning session on 9 October, 2021.”
