Assam govt to give full salaries & pensions of May to its employees: Himanta

May 28: In the backdrop of halting of economic activities, there was severe crunch in the state exchequer. Even the state Finance Minister had expressed concerns regarding disbursement of salaries of its employees. The state government employees were also much tensed. However, ending all speculations, State Finance Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet on Thursday stated that Assam government will give full salaries to its employees and pensioners for the month of May.
