Principal of BRM Govt Law College arrested for alleged sexually abusing his daughter

Dec. 7: In a shocking incident, Ashutosh Kundu, Principal of BRM Government Law College in Guwahati was arrested on Sunday night after his daughter registered a complaint against her father for alleged sexual and mental abuse for several months. The complaint was filed by the 26-year-old daughter of the Principal at Panbazar All Women Police Station. He has been booked under case no. 185/20 u/s 354/352/506/294 IPC add section 376 IPC. Ashutosh Kundu was produced in a special court in Guwahati on Monday. He has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
