Porn video played on LCD screen during an IOC event in Tinsukia in presence of Union Minister
Crime Branch of Assam police has launched an investigation into the incident and have seized hardware from the event
May 1: What an embarrassing moment it was for the Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Rameswar Teli along with Niti Aayog Member V K Saraswat, Indian Oil Chairman S M Vaidya, Assam Petrochemicals Limited Chairman Bikul Deka and other senior officials of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)! Al of a sudden, a pornographic video was payed on the giant LCD screen while an Indian Oil official was delivering a speech.
The minister along with the officials and the audience all were left embarrassed. Immediately after a few seconds, the video was stopped, but by that time, the damage was already done. Though the pornographic clip was played accidentally, but such an accident in a public programme could not just be excused. Minister Rameswar Teli immediately ordered a probe into the incident. As per reports, the Crime Branch of Assam police has launched an investigation into the incident and have seized hardware from the event.

The incident took place in Assam’s Tinsukia district on Saturday. The pilot rollout of M15 petrol was held at Tinsukia’s Mirana Hotel. The Minister announced pilot rollout of M15 (15% Methanol Blended MS BS VI) and distributed Indane composite cylinders as well to beneficiaries at Tinsukia. M15 is a blend of 15 % methanol and 85 % Gasoline.Its use can help lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by about 5 to 10 percent and improve air quality in the country, thereby enhancing the overall health and well-being of the citizens.
The programme was also attended by Minister of Tea Tribes Welfare & Labour Welfare Department,Government of Assam, Sanjoy Kishan, Digboi MLA Suren Phukan, IRS,PS to MoS Dhrubasish Deka among others.
