Poor performance: Assam BJP dismisses all minority state, district & mandal committees

May 5: In the recently concluded Assam Assembly Election, 2021, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has failed to secure expected votes in the minority dominated areas and thereby has put up a dismal performance. Even the party in many such areas has failed to secure the votes of even those who are in the 20-member booth committees. This was stated in a notification issued by Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy in his capacity as the State General Secretary of Assam Pradesh BJP.

It is in this backdrop Dr. Rajdeep Roy in the party notification stated, “As such, upon the advice of the President of Assam Pradesh BJP, Ranjeet Kumar Das, the Minority State Morcha of BJP, Minority District Committees and Minority Mandal Committees are dismissed with immediate effect.”
