PNB Hospital Road branch to take action against erring employee for COVID-19 violation

July 22: The Lead District Manager, Cachar has asked the Branch Manager of Punjab (PNB) National Bank, Hospital Road Branch, Silchar to take action against an employee of its branch for violation of COVID-19 protocols.

Following a directive from Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli, the Lead District Manager has asked the Branch Manager of PNB to initiate appropriate action against a lady cashier for not wearing mask while on duty in flagrant violation of COVID-19 guidelines. Deputy Commissioner, Jalli shared a post on social media to the Lead District Manager on Tuesday and asked him to initiate necessary steps.

Meanwhile, the Lead District Manager has asked the Branch Manager, PNB to take appropriate action as deem fit and proper against the cashier for not wearing mask and to submit action taken report within three days for appraisal of the Deputy Commissioner.
