Person tests COVID-19 positive in Dhubri, total jumps to 29 in Assam

April 9: The numbers of COVID-19 positive case in Assam is on the rise. A person little while ago was tested positive from Dhubri. The patient came in contact with a positive patient with Nizamuddin Markaz linkage from the same district. The total number of COVID-19 positive cases now goes to 29 in Assam.

Taking to his twitter handle, state Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted this information at 8 PM on 9 April. He wrote, “Alert ~ A person from Dhubri, who was in contact with a positive patient (with Markaz linkage) from the same district, has been confirmed as #COVID19 positive. The total number of #Covid patients in #Assam now stands at 29. Update at 8.00 pm / April 8.”
