Permission for Durga Puja & immersion allotment slot ends on 22 Oct in Cachar

21 Oct: District Development Commissioner cum CEO District Disaster management Authority, Cachar Jessica Lalsim issued a notice on Wednesday as per which the Durga Puja committees and others who have still not applied for puja permission or immersion permission slot allotment were asked to submit their application latest by 22 October ,2020 till 12 noon. After that no more application will be entertained. However, permission for the submitted application will be distributed and issued till 5 PM on 22 October, 2020.

The order further stated that this year immersion is an extended affair and without slot no immersion will be allowed. For a hassle free immersion process, prior permission is a must. Puja committees who have still not applied for puja permission or immersion permission allotment slot may submit the hardcopy to DDMA or mail application to ddmacachar@gmail.com till 12 noon on 22 October.
