Pavaan Observed International Women’s Day in Betukandi

way2barak, March 12 : NGO PAAVAN conducted a distribution programme along with a Survey based community service in collaboration with the Women’s Cell, Radhamadhab College today at the adopted village of the College, Bethukandi. The postponed programme was observed in commemoration with the International Women’s Day. The NGO PAAVAN distributed essential food items to 40 elderly women who had been adversely affected by the havoc of flood last year. Besides food items they were also provided with health and hygiene products and sanitary napkins. The entire programme was assisted by the Local NGO of Bethukandi, Rising Youth Club and the Head of the Department of Manipuri, Ch.Manikumar Singha. The members present on behalf of PAAVAN were Dr. Arundhati Dutta Choudhury, Anushaka Chakravorty, Namrata Nath, Sunny Kashyap and Saptayudh Dutta Choudhury. The Convenor of Women’s Cell, Radhamadhab College, Dr. Nabanita Debnath along with a group of guest faculty members were also participated in this collaborative effort.
